The two-phase Asian exhibit, covers 11 acres, and is the largest most expensive project in OKC Zoo history. The first phase cost $23 million. It consists of a natural habitat designed for elephants and takes the visitor on a journey through Southeast Asia along a river. The second phase is currently under construction and features rhinos and pandas. The addition of a Thai Temple hill-top restaurant will provide a grand view of the zoo campus. This phase is set to open 2018.
